Harry Pitt and Can

Harry Pitt is a rather unkempt boy whose appearance is similar to "Pig-Pen" from the Peanuts comics and a classmate to Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup in Pokey Oaks Kindergarten. He is also one of the major characters of the Cootie Gras's storyline.

During this episode, he is basically the fear of the kids on Valentine's Day, seeing as was mistaken to have 'cooties', when that was nothing more than an incorrect thought. Alas, he was still mistakenly afflicted with cooties, and being rather untidy didn't really help, therefore Harry was branded an outcast from the children. This left him rather lonely because Harry was only looking for someone to love him in return, not meaning any malicious intent behind his actions.

Even the hardly shaken Powerpuff Girls, starting with Bubbles who preferred not to risk having cooties, were terrified of this boy because of the so-called illness, forcing them to fly away just before Harry could lay his lips on the Girls. Harry is left by his lonesome, feeling the hurt of condemnation. Mojo Jojo had saw this happening and smiled wickedly, knowing he could use Harry to his advantage as in pulling gem heists and bank robberies without being stopped or be injured by fighting, so long as Mojo had Harry by his side. Promptly, Mojo went over to him on the sidewalk, sat next to the outcast and giving a simple hello. Harry also terrorized the Powerpuff Girls in their dream, even his face was the portrayal of the fake illness and Harry himself was the emblem of fear.

The following day, the girls receive a call from the Hotline informing them that Mojo is trying to rob the bank. The girls arrive on the scene, ready to arrest Mojo. The villain then presents his new partner, Harry, whose mere presence intimidates the girls to retreat in fear.

Without the Powerpuff Girls to afraid of Harry to intervene with his plans, Mojo induces a crime spree that imbues him with so much criminal success that his demonstration of using Harry to scare the girls during a mugging helps him obtain the allegiance of two mobsters. Together, Mojo, Harry and the two mobsters seize control of the Mayor's office.

On the cusp of winning control of Townsville, Mojo has the two mobsters force the Mayor to call the girls on the Hotline, under the guise of needing help opening his Pickle Jar. The girls arrive on the scene, but are shocked to see Mojo at the Mayor's desk. Before they can do anything, Mojo pushes a button on his desk, which opens a trapdoor underneath the girls, causing them to fall down into a deep pit. The girls look up in time to see Mojo holding Harry above the pit before dropping him in with them, giving the boy what he wanted.

Now with the girls trapped in the pit with him, Harry chases after the girls who run around the pit to avoid him. After some time of chasing, Harry corners Blossom, who has gotten separated from the other two. With nowhere to run, Blossom falls to the ground in defeat. Harry leans in and gives her a kiss on the cheek. After several seconds, Blossom opens her eyes, noting that nothing has happened. Because of this, the girls finally realize that cooties aren't real, and that it was all just their imaginations. Having overcome their fear, the girls move towards Harry, their faces now beaming as they call him a cutie. Once they have him cornered, the girls give Harry a big smooching before flying out of the pit to beat up Mojo. Harry, his face now covered with multiple red lipstick marks, is left behind in the pit, dizzy with happiness that his affections were reciprocated.

Trivia[]

  • His name is a pun on the term "hairy pits". The girls later call him a cutie, which itself is a pun on the word "cootie."
  • Unlike most of the kids at Pokey Oaks Kindergarten, Harry has gone through the most voice actors, ranging from Tom Kenny, Dee Bradley Baker, and E.G. Daily. He is unvoiced in his focus episode, though.
  • He is the second boy that the girls have kissed, the first being the Rowdyruff Boys. though he was kissed by all three of them at the same time. Unlike the RR Boys, the girls kissed Harry out of genuine affection instead of trying to defeat him.
  • He is the first boy that Buttercup had no complaints about kissing, considering that she had once vocally expressed her disgust over having to kiss Butch in The Rowdyruff Boys.
  • He is the first of two characters who ends up getting his face covered in red lipstick marks after being kissed by a female character, the second being The Mayor by Sedusa disguised as Ms. Bellum in Something's a Ms.
  • Out of the three girls, Harry seems to have a specific fixation on Blossom, as he primarily targets her when the girls are trapped in the pit with him, and she is the only one he succeeds in giving a kiss, implying that he prefers her over her sisters. Ironically, Blossom seems to be the one who kissed him the most when she and her sisters smooch him in the end. This suggests that she might have developed a crush on him, though this lasted for one episode.
