Superman, born Kal-El and later renamed Clark Kent, is an alien from the planet Krypton and the superhero protector of the city of Metropolis. He is also a journalist for The Daily Planet and a member of the Justice League.

Superman was briefly mentioned by Femme Fatale in an attempt to manipulate The Powerpuff Girls into letting her go after they apprehended her for robbing a bank, telling them "You girls protect your city just as well as Batman and Superman protect theirs, but do you have your own movie?"
