For me it was a good episode ^^
Eh, it was ok. But I've seen this plot done a million times.
Static Shock even did this story, and WAY better (seriously, people need to start uproaring for a new Static series).
The episode is "Blast from the Past" by the way.

Ikr, that was a great show, cheesy but great.

lol It was. And it definitely had some cheesy moments but I don't think cheesy would be a correct general term for the show. In fact, it's one of the most.authentic kid cartoons I've ever seen in my life, and that's saying something.
WAY ahead of its time. VALID lessons we haven't heard a million times in almost each ep, diverse characters, on point humor and action, extended JL and other DC connections/crossovers, real life characters and cultural references, Virgil/Static as a character is hilarious, smart, and an awesome lead, and most of all, it wasn't afraid to occasionally give viewers a major reality check, controversial or not. MAN, just imagine if Dwayne McDuffie was here today. Modern cartoons, I tell ya...
It tackled real life issues that cartoons today are afraid to, such as gun violence, gang violence, bullying, racism, drug abuse, etc etc, while still getting the message across in a valid, fair, and non-preachy way. And the lessons never overshadowed the superhero element but complimented it. It was a superhero show, but one that I could imagine actually hapenning in real life, and that's why I loved it so much.
Heck, in my book, it's right up there with Teen Titans just for it having more authenticity, maybe a little further even. They were even mentioned in SS. Man, if only that crossover happened, especially since Static is a Teen Titan in the comics.
Indeed, I've been waiting for other cartoons to tackle these subjects. We kinda got it in Steven Universe with the caste system but can't beat the classics.

No you can not XD
Even the OG Powerpuff Girls had their own share of real life issues/lessons. Particularly with them dealing with sexism on multiple occasions, among some of the other issues I mentioned above.
I thought this episode was okay, or at least better than some of the other episodes. I do hope we see more of Green Wing, although she seems to only be there to "bond" with Buttercup and not a very deep character. I mean, I guess you can't really expect deep cartoon characters these days, but they don't seem to even be trying.
And I personally think that the flashback was the best part of the episode, so the more Green Wing flashbacks, the better!
I liked this episode. Not really much else to say, it was just good.
