Summary

This episode is about Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, and a monster. While Buttercup and Blossom are arguing which is better in battle, the plan or the pure fight, a Giant Orange Monster is destoying Townsville. The girls are unable to defeat the gigantic reptile. After several attempts, Blossom gets so fed up with Buttercup disobeying and insulting her, that they decide to act on their own, with no luck. After Blossom and Buttercup continue to repeatedly fail with their attempts at breaking the beast, Bubbles breaks in and just nicely asks the monster to stop demolishing buildings and it agrees and returns back to the sea where it came from, while her sisters remain stunned. And so, the day is saved, thanks to Bubbles!

Quotes

[Bubbles has gotten rid of the monster by asking it to leave to her sisters' astonishment]
Bubbles: THAT'S HOW YOU GET RID OF A MONSTER, YOU BIG, FAT, DOO DOO-HEADED NINNIES!

Trivia

  • This is an episode where only one of the girls saves the day, that girl being Bubbles. It is shown, however, by her smiling, looking very satisfied with herself, and being shown upclose, while Blossom and Buttercup are shown trading angry looks onscreen, only distant.
  • This is one of the few episodes in which Blossom and Buttercup have a bad ending, but Bubbles doesn't.
  • The reason this episode was made was because of complaints from parents that McCracken received about young viewers of the show thinking violence is always the answer.
  • This is the one of the episodes ending with the narrator saying his catchphrase differently: "And so, once again, the day is saved, thanks to... Bubbles."
  • Mayor is playing music on wine glasses in this episode. The glasses are filled with apple juice and he drinks some of it to tune them lower. But the proper way to lower a note from a wine glass is to add liquid, not by removing it.
